Lapis Software Associates, LLC announced today that its lottery sales force automation software, gemIntelligence™ was selected by the Michigan Lottery as its next generation system for its lottery sales force.
The Michigan Lottery was among the first US lotteries to embrace and leverage sales force automation for its Lottery Sales Representatives and continues to seek innovations to maximize its value. More recently, the Lottery sought creative new solutions for increasing productivity, improving stock inventory and increasing real time service, as it considered the new sales force automation innovations available in the lottery and retail industries.
“With our retail growth strategies continually evolving, we want to take advantage of faster communication and near real time sales and inventory information. We also want to provide the Michigan Lottery sales staff with an easy-to-use solution that helps support the real-time actions that result in increased sales,” said Jeff Holyfield, the director of public relations for the Michigan Lottery.
gemIntelligence provides lotteries and their retailers a full suite of office and mobile software applications. By combining powerful, but easy to use sales force automation applications with a flexible and customizable platform, lotteries can quickly turn their retail performance best practices into automated solutions. With Lapis’ innovative “Always-On Architecture”, lotteries can take advantage of real time information and full visibility anywhere, anytime, and using any mobile/web device.
“The Michigan Lottery is known for its high level of performance and innovation, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them,” said Jean Lombard, President of Lapis Software Associates. “gemIntelligence was designed to be customizable for each lottery’s unique business rules and retail sales requirements, and we are actively working with the Lottery to help them maximize the power of these capabilities.”
